Thank you to Cardinal Sarah for pointing this out. It’s not like we all don’t talk about this all the time but it’s good to know that there are still yet some in the Vatican who take this seriously, who understand that the death of the West would be a grievous blow to the world.

We are neglecting to have enough children and we are importing millions upon millions who do not hold to the values of the West. This will end in tragedy.

He's absolutely correct. One of the signs of a civilization that is about to collapse is the rejection of everything the culture in that civilization has built, everything that it believed in, everything that it stood for. The foundations of the civilization crumble, and the entire edifice falls.

I can see one of two penultimate outcomes, should current trends continue (and why wouldn't they?):

1. The Parousia

2. The advent of a new dark age, lasting who knows how long.
