  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

1982 Camaro Z28 (midnight blue, with a manual transmission). It was a fixer-upper that I fixer-upped before going to college. That car was a lot of fun. Unfortunately school costs money, so the camaro had to be sold.

Now, after nearly 10 years of driving family sedans, I have another Camaro (1996, T-tops, medium blue, automatic, loaded). But unlike my first car, this one is in great shape from the get-go.

Hee hee, what a coincedence that the Op's first car was a Lynx! Mine was SUPPOSED to be our blue Lynx. I was seventeen, and paid 500.00 down payment on it. My parents told me it would be mine when I was 18. Then my parents divorced when I was still seventeen. Mom didn't let me have the car. When I moved out on her, I had to get me a car and I bought a 91 Cavalier Rally Sport in silver. That was in 93. Only problems I had with the car was with the starter! I had that car for ten years. And traded it in just a couple of years ago! Hard to imagine huh? My second vehicle ever is my 2002 Kia Van. I still can't believe that my first car saw me through family turmoil, loss of my mom, my marriage, and bringing home our son, who was two when we let it go. It was the greatest!!

Well look at all these nice cars listed her in this thread.

I had a beat up old Ford Maverick. It was a hand-me-down from my older sister (story of my life). It had a dent in nearly every panel but BOY was THAT car SAFE! AND it was FREE! It still will crank today, not that I'd want it on the highway or anything mind you. Although I'm a bit upset that my little brother didn't have to drive it as his first car! But then I moved up in the world to a uh Fiat. Now there was a car (said sarcasticly).
Now I LOVE my nissan sentra I drive today..it just took my awhile to work up that far lol

OOOOOOOHhhhhhhhh the chevette. HA HA HA, now that is one heck of a car. My friend had one, and that thing was ran so ragged. There was a hole in the floor on the passenger side from being rusted through! And one time we got stuck in snow, so me and her got out and just pushed it out. Ha ha ha, I don't think we could have pushed any other car. Boy she gave that car Heck in big snow piles!
