You may conclude what ever you like. That is your prerogative. Other people may arrive at other conclusions. How we reach these different (or even the same) conclusions is also each of our prerogatives. One thing may convince you but not me. I may be convinced by something completely different. None of which means ipso facto that our conclusion is correct.

I have a much higher opinion of the average theist than this. Most of them, in my experience, laugh at such a sad lack of logic.

I'm guessing, Joinfree, that in your world fundamentalists not only "can not lie," they cannot sin. John didn't seem to hold this point of view. Or maybe your comments were meant as a joke?
