Can we set up a vote to have the Prog/Trad sub-Forums be fazed out?

My hand is way over here with a cookie in it. 2 Weight Watcher points...but WELL worth it.

Red, "fazed" is the internet lingo for phased so I just thought you were being hip!

Well maybe I was being 'hip' and just didnt know it..

Yes, lets talk with the moderators and see if we can put up a proposal to 'faze' out the Prog/Trad if we can set up a process to police ourselves. I think Tall73 is posting up a list of ways to handle any violations which could be used to gauge in the Adventist section if we can throw away the last vestiges of failure to love one another.

Okay, I really have to say something here.

I do not think it is fair to view the subforums as a 'failure' in any way. Why are some so opposed to it? Is it not enough you voted down the split forums, now you want to take away the last bastion of sanity for both sides? Why is fellowship being forced on us? If you take two fighting children by the ear, lock them in a room together and demand they 'make nice', do you honestly think you are going to open the door an hour later and find them playing merrily together?

Most likely, you will find both children crying, covered in bruises and scratch marks.

Reddogs, please be reasonable. The subforums are a good thing, not a bad one. Many of the Traditionalists are offended by some of the topics we Progressives start threads about and it aggrivates them to no end, especially threads on EGW. What is wrong with having a private place where we can discuss and deal with these issues by ourselves without irritating the ones who falsely think we are attacking ECW instead of just asking legitimate questions?

Help me out here, because I really don't understand your agenda. Phasing out the subforums at any point will only cause more problems, and by doing it we are asking for a whole boat-load of trouble and headaches. It's going to limit us severely. The majority of the Traditionalists wanted split forums. Be thankful we are getting by with the subforums.

Please remember that not all of the Tradtionalists are as tolerant and open-minded as you seem to be.

The majority voted on it, stacked or not. Let's just leave well enough alone and not assume more than can be realistically be expected here.

We are being led into Satans strategy to divide and conquer and take us to the bottomless pit. If we cant talk to each other here, then we certainly arent going to be doing it in heaven. We must find a way to cross the chasm that the devil has created between Adventist on this forum. You know what I am saying is true, the Spirit like Paul said will confirm it, search your heart.....
