Interesting. Netherlands huh? My family is all from the United States.
My parents and grandparents are still alive. But, My parents are 62 and 65. And my grandparents are between 84 & 90. Seems like in my family people only die for a couple of reasons; war, childbirth, freak accidents or old age. I don't know what that means in the grand scheme of things. Maybe it takes us longer to learn our life lessons. So we have to stay longer.
Anyway, IMO I don't feel old, and I'm not old. I don't retire for another 22 years. And then I plan on seeing the world with my husband. When my 7 year old wakes me up in the middle of the night with nighmares and fears, the lack of sleep makes me feel old. But, for the most part...I just don't buy into that attitude. It seems defeatest to me somehow.
