grace is not by its self going to save you! you must do the works!
Jesus said repent turn from your sin that's obey The laws
Ephesians 2:8-9
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithand this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God NOT BY WORKS, so that no one can boast."
thepromiseofgrace said:but we do sin, we cannot help sinning, even Paul said why is it so easy to do the things i shouldn't yet so hard to do the things i should. We cannot be without sin and all sin is willful but there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, we commit the crime, so to speak but we are no longer condemned for it, it has no charge against us because it has been paid for by Jesus in full. No we don't go sinning because we are saved by Grace, why would we but god has trusted us with an amazing Gift and by his Grace he trusts us to use that gift wisely not abusively but our salvation is sealed.
Wrong your cherry picking and misquoting the word
Listening only to other people and not reading the word /doing the work will stumble true understanding
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, ([bless and do not curse]Hebrews‬ [bless and do not curse]10‬:[bless and do not curse]26‬ KJV)
thepromiseofgrace said:i'm not cherry picking at all. that verse has been covered many times, it was spoken to a crowd that were straying from the knowledge of Grace back in to law, it actually is Oops ?

no worries.
Respectfully, if we sin, what is the consequence of sin? Biblically speaking?
Light hearted said:Since we can fall into different categories. (1) Those by faith are covered by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. or (2) Those who believe in self-righteousness either by becoming acquainted with the offering of the Holy Spirit and decided to put it aside, or those who have denied the Holy Spirit all together. Which category of people are you referring to in the question above?

Im just curious when being born-again comes into the equation
The question was to you , and your believe, I
Have asked this question to many that have your view and it's the one question that can't I can't seemed to get answered.

Im just curious when being born-again comes into the equation
This is a good question, which prompts a whole new discussion.
So what is the consequence to sinning habitually / being a slave to sin not repenting biblically speaking? Can you tell me ware it states any, or can we just sinHebrews is the more obvious verse I use but there is definitely a lot more then the ladder. Here's a good one I'm sure is pretty plain. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 2 Peter 2:20 For your view on the meaning of Hebrews to me it is clearly speaking of the knowledge / understanding and how you can have no sacrifice for sin, my common sense tells me. Jesus is not case sensitive. Job speaks of the same understating and how it will be what turns you from evil job 28:28 clearly giving us the ability to turn from sin, as well as 2 Peter.
Well you sound pretty nice and normal but what you are believing is considered Calvinistic & or hyper grace teaching. The church didn't always teach this ( it's considered" new age "
Which In fact is the base for All Lucifarin believe,
If you study religious and ware they truly stem from and there main themes.
I truly am still delving into all the search for truth but I would not like your going to or not like you don't totally think I'm a crack pot lol but prey to God for biblical wisdom ?
You must not deny the word at all it's filled with
Falling away, falling from grace even, and er from the truth. Brethren are the saved! How can we er if are sins are forgiven and. Even a brethren being re converted ?? To be saved
The measure between the two believes in the bible is undesirable if you don't cherry pick it misquote
Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. ([bless and do not curse]James‬ [bless and do not curse]5‬:[bless and do not curse]19-20‬ KJV)
God bless
