You know, I really do not get this. Free has shown himself to be one of the friendliest, most good-natured posters here, always Christ-centered and showing Christian charity and love to all, not to mention demonstrating three times the amount of patience I could ever show in response to attacks. Why he is so maligned, hounded and treated with such disdain by some I will never know.

He is a full-fledged member of this forum as far as I am concerned.

Oh, I am! LOL! And I still hold valid SDA ministerial credentials and hold teaching credentials too. Because I don't agree with the ultra-conservative far right they don't think the credentials count, nor my membership in the SDA church, at least here on this forum.

I will be here to boast about Christ alone as long as God continues to lead me to do so. When he tells me it's time to move on, I'll move on.

Thank you for your kind words Night. As long as there are believers lifting up Christ alone for salvation there will always be the voice of opposition trying to squelch it and add human action/behavior to salvation through faith in Christ alone. It's always been that way, and it will always be that way until Christ himself makes everything right. And HE will...

From the sounds of it you'd think I was in here teaching Satanism. Who knew that directing others to Christ alone for salvation would bring about so much ridicule and hatred?!

I guess the history of the church (the ONE Christ started) shows that it's always been this way though.

Oh, speaking of that, I imagine you already read this guy's story, but if anyone here has not it is quite relevant to your statement.
This preacher claims to have been PUT OUT of the ministry for preaching on nothing but righteousness by faith for 18 months.

Actually, coming from you it means a lot. I can detect the Spirit of Christ in you, even though we do not agree on SDA doctrines. That speaks VOLUMES!

There are a handful of trads that I would love to sit down with and study Scripture (and ONLY Scripture!) with. You're one of them. It would probably take more than just a meal to get anywhere though.

As far as being a bachelor (and NOT Batchelor! lol) it would be best if you didn't bring anything to eat. It would force us to eat it out of respect. (Paul would have eaten it! And not asked questions about what it was!)
