CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was never any good at wood work, and we were making a frame for a picture, my corners just would not glue together, so when it was time to take it home I stole somebody elses. (Honestly I wasn't a Christian then)

Well now,I was suspended 3 days for smoking in the bathroom.
Spent another suspension for bringing alcohol to school,smoking pot.
I was basically a very wild kid.It helps me with my teen right now because I can relate
and for what it's worth makes me more human to her right now.

I wore a skin tight body suit for Halloween,got sent to the principal. I laugh as I recall this. Consequences were a quick send home with my mom.
In 4th grade I brought a snake inside the school,in my pocket. I was given what they call
a class summons. LOL the other kids were jumping around their seats.I thought this comical!

Seeking God's Will
I once put a smoke bomb in a locker in the math hallway right after classes started. Boy, did I ever get in trouble for that!! Nearly got expelled and sent to the school for delinquents. That was 11th grade I think...

Got a mate to write a posh letter to the teacher after i'd done something wrong, it worked.
Got someone to ring and say I was sick so I didn't have to take Art exam.

Well, in 3rd grade I pulled the chair out from under someone.... He fell like a rock... I was so embarassed and felt terrible.... I did apologize
. Then in 8th grade I smoked in the girls bathroom ,which was directly across from the in school detention room, without doors... Duh..... I was caught, and told the teacher that I found the smoke in the stall and was just putting it out!!! 
.... Her family even attended our church!!!!

Unexpected, But Always Meant To Be!!!
Well...7th grade.......I started toilet paper roll on fire...I had done it before, BUT the roll had never become engulfed in flames after the fire made its way into the roll. Another boy saw me leave the bathroom and I figured I would be caught...BUT Hoped against hope I wouldn't be caught.
I was and was put on 3 day Out of School Suspension. I thought I would lounge those days.....I did not: my Dad made me stack firewood over here and then over there and then over here and then over there. I caught the You've tarnished the family name speech: which I still find amusing today as our last name isn't anything pretty...it was long tarnished b4 me, but I wrote a note of apology to my parents and put it on their bed pillows and I was NOT considered Cool when I returned to school.....Same Nerd BUT was just Caught doing STUPID Actions and getting caught.
What got me sent to preschool to begin with is I started beating kids up on "My Block" as they lived in "My Neighborhood".....I'm blessed that I wasn't Allowed to go down that route as that could have been the start of me and my own gang in the place I lived.

i threw rocks at a boy who was throwing rocks at a wasps nest... spent the weekend terrified the headmaster was gonna tell my parents. (was about 10 at the time)
erm, i hadnt done my science homework so i threw my exercse book away and swore that it had just gone missing in school. I got to photocopy my friends excellent work for the whole term because our exams were coming up
got into a couple of fights, usually helping friends out.
and only bunked off once to go shopping
used to cover for a mate when she wanted to skive school and go see her boyfriend.
i wasnt too naughty, just passively subversive
oh i forgot, i cheated in every French and Latin vocabulary test i took... which probably accounts for why i didnt pass my French O'level!

Well as a trusted n'eer do wrong, I had access to the common room key which was universal to the whole building so I er locked all the teachers in the staff room. Lost our common room for a whole week

Oh boy, lets see, I have too much to tell because I was a really bad kid! We used to have to catch the bus for the high school at the middle school so we would stand around waiting, well, one day I caught the trash can on fire, lol, everyone scattered but me, the vice pricipal of the middle school came out and saw me standing there, asked me who did it, I told him I did, he asked why, I told him my hands were cold! Can't remember if it was in school or out of school suspension but needless to say, I was in trouble !

in 6th grade after Mr Dawson told me I had to eat lunch in his office due to being
late for class 3 ? times in one week I put a container of altoids in the teachers lounge coffee pot.

Ok so I blame a shy cheerleader wanting to fit in, and pubesint boys for this one. On one of our basket ball games the adults had the cheerleaders ride with the basket ball team. On the way home one of the cutest boys ever dared me and another girl to lift up our skirts and moon the car behind the bus. I so did not get away with this one. The car followed us all the way home. When we got off the bus and the man was through talking to the coaches we found out that he was the Father at the local Catholic church. We got taken off cheerleading for the basket ball team. Wich was fine with me. I was a dancer not a cheerleader. I just went out so my foster mom would leave me alone.
The second was skipping school. I even skipped with my science teacher. Those were great out of town shopping trips. Anyway one time I got caught and my foster mom decided to go to school with me for 2 count them 2 whole weeks. I wasn't allowed to talk to any one. And I never even steppeed foot into our caffiteria until then. That was because she took the oppurtunity to invite her friends from church to come to school everyday at lunch time for a social hour. Did I quit? Are you kidding me? I just got more sneakier.
I guess one thing that I learned is that if your going to do something in a small town make it good cause the chances of getting caught are bigger then you know.

Not sure if I should post this or not.
1. Skipped all of my classes one day with 3 of my closest friends. It was the mid 80's and one buddy always carried a large purse. That particular day she had a bottle of Seagrams 7. By the last class period, not one of us could walk a straight line. Surprisingly none of us got caught.
2. Another time I got in trouble during a class for passing notes and when the teacher asked for my name I told her I was Ann Wilson. The friend I was passing notes with said her name was Stephanie Nicks. Apparently this teacher wasn't a rocker.

My best friend let me copy her answers on an exam. The real bad part is that it was a Bible class.
