ok, I love rpg games, but I have NEVER seen one like this, if I wanted to start playing, what would I need, and how would I go about starting please!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just pop into a thread, check out what it's all about... there's often an OOC thread associated with an RPG thread, so you can kind of get the skinny on what's going on from there. 
If all else fails, PM the thread starter and, unless they haven't been around for a while, they'll generally be able to tell you what's up.
After that... well, create a character (you don't need dice or anything!) and post it on the character board, then jump on in!

Thanks, it's still a little confusing, but I guess i will eventually figure it out, feels like I started playing a new video game froms someones saved game that was in the middle....

or you can just force yourself into the middle of one like i did but it's really confusing and i wouldn't recommend it for the faint of heart.

you'll need to enter your character bio in the 'character database' forum, and there're specific information for Christia section in the 'background' forum that you need to check before playing Christia related RPG.

I think she means online on message boards as opposed to video game RPGs. (Final Fantasy and stuff...) It's also a bit different from tabletop, admittedly-- no dice to deal with!
