Can someone explain to me this "woke" meaning?

How does that sit with you? Would you sometimes prefer that people try to be more understanding of your perspective? Or at least respect you regardless of differences?
I would only expect people to do what they are able to do.

Somehow all this translates into me being a white supremacist, racist, transphobic, xenophobic, homophobic, white privileged member of the patriarchy.
Those terms describe attitudes rather than the personal data you shared. But thanks for that.

I would say the data shared is indicative of the attitudes. You cannot separate the two. Someone said actions speak louder than words. Anyone can display false attuites and virtue signal. Show me a man's life and I will show you his heart.

I disagree. In spite of all you shared you could still hold racist attitudes.

In my mind, "Woke" is simply awareness, sensitivity and respect for people different than me in race, color, creed, ethnicity, class or anything, for that matter.
You left out the same and guilt you are supposed to feel to be truly woke.

My understanding and beliefs about racism were formed from a seminar I attended while in the USAF. They taught us that everyone has racist tendencies. Everyone. Anyone who tells you they do not are liars and are putting up a false front. The key to defeating the resident racism in your human nature is to acknowledge it and resolve to not succumb to it. I choose to treat my fellow humans with dignity and respect. When I hear people claim they have no racist tendences, I have to wonder what else they are hiding. They either do not know themselves very well, are in denial, or are simply lying.
Again. it is what you do, not your virtue signaling or attitudes that define who and what you are.
As a believer I repent and resolve before my Lord that I will crucify my flesh, I will die daily, and will be transformed by the renewal of my mind with His word. I choose to walk in love and in the Spirit.
I find dubious those who preach that they have no racist tendencies, are better than everyone else and use this as a weapon against the rest of us who acknowledge our nature, and strive to overcome it, while all they do is virtue signal, use this as a weapon, and judge others.

I agree with much of what you said. Something occurred to me ad I looked it up.
"Affinity bias": we gravitate toward people like ourselves in appearance, beliefs, and background. And we may avoid or even dislike people who are different from us.

But that is a common starting point. Once we are aware of it (as you said) we can do something about it. That , in my mind, is "woke". And it can certainly accomplished without guilt. Do i feel guilt about my own ignorance or fallen nature? No. I acknowledge it and move on doing my best to overcome it. Same goes for my affinity bias because it is not just race. It is also gender, age, nationality, etc.

You mean this?

Seriously?
Yes... I have seen it.
Children get a little wiffle bat and hit people with it, and mommy is not telling them to stop, so they go around finding people to attack. They fain offense if anyone dare stand up and state the obvious.
