Can it be moral to engage in genocide?

Science has found evidence of a universal morality. I can't find the study right now but I remember a documentary where they did a study and found consistent, core ethical decisions made by people when presented dilemma's involving the prevention of a train accident.

Well, science has concluded that humans are hardwired to think it's good to help others, but what that means can vary wildly from one culture to another. Moreover, this doesn't imply an actual universal morality, but only a common tendency to have a morality.
