  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Can I kill you?

Are you willing to stand up for what you believe in? Are you willing to die for those you love? Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani has been executed in Iran. He is the pastor who has been imprisoned and found guilty by the courts in Iran of being a Christian. Now he’s been executed in spite of international appeals to spare his life. He was hanged today. Where is the outcry from the White House over the murder of this innocent Christian minister? Where is the outcry from the church in America and around the world? The silence is deafening!

I'm not saying there shouldn't be an outcry like the ones you are talking about...

But I'm more disheartened by the fact that there hasn't been an outcry of praise from the church of Jesus Christ (least, not that I've seen/heard)....when someone dies for His name's sake, He is exalted..and yes, it's painful and devastating in ways...but hallelujah! What honor at the same time!

It is less about dying & more about daily living or dying to self for God through others.
I'm more disheartened there hasn't been an outcry of praise when someone dies for His name.
Agreed. It is less about the negative & more about the positive. Let's focus on how the miracles, grace, & mercy of God: how He redeems & draws people into loving Him through loving others: 1 John 4:19.

He wasn't executed.
Let me google that for you. Did you even bother looking?
I apologize for not looking. Somebody on Facebook immediately showed me an article that says he wasn't executed. But yet, still, my issue is that people are still unfairly tried, convicted, punished, & executed.

We still need to be praying for him, because he is still alive! I do hope & pray we are all willing to do what it takes to be faithful to the end.
Are we willing to live for Christ no matter what?

I am - including being at peace with those who persecute me for my faith. Even if it means they kill me for it.

All christians should have the type of faith to die for their Lord Jesus Christ. Not saying you just lie down and take it though.

I looked it up, and it does seem to be a rumor.

Oh, should I post the link for you?

naaaa,...

wait, ok

why not?

I did find an article,

wouldn't it be rude not to post the link?

ok then
