Can I get some prayers?

I am 6 weeks and 2 days and went in for an ultrasound today. They saw the gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole and I measured 5 weeks 6 days. I had my blood drawn today and will get the results of my levels tomorrow and if they have risen then we are to assume everything is ok. I go back next week for an ultrasound.

Can I just get some prayers that this baby is ok? I appreciate it.

THank you for all of your prayers! I did get my blood work back and my levels are rising. Now I just have to patiently wait until next Friday.

At this stage in your pregnancy your hcg levels will tell you so much more than a scan. I hope and pray that when you go back on Friday you see a little one with a heartbeat and measuring at least 6 weeks 6 days.

These things are never exact. Did your doctor do an internal ultrasound? With this baby we didn't see a foetal pole at 6 weeks via external ultrasound, only a sac and a yolk. The internal ultrasound revealed the baby and heartbeat. So it doesn't mean that your baby isn't fine - just that baby is so small and there is so much an ultrasound can't see at this early stage.

I had the same thing happen with my 2nd child. We were so worried for a while, but had to get 2x blood work to make sure. At the levels they were at, we should have seen something, but didn't. Sure enough, the next week there she was. It was a scary time, but we made it through. She is now a healthy 3 year old, but BOY was that week hard for us. Still keeping you in my prayers!
