thanks for the answers. i was just under the assumption that in defacing a bible i was committing an unforgivible sin. well then if i can manage to get rid of the guilt that i have then this will be easier to cope with.
Hi, I am so sorry for the struggles you are going through, and so glad that you desire or already have commited your life to Jesus.
Ripping a bible up is not a blasphemy.
WE all have pasts, very dark pasts, and there is nothing that you have done or could do that could ever separate you from the love of God, nor from salvation.
When you believed, all your sins, past, present and future were forgiven.
I will be praying for you friend, for leniency in the court case.
Also, regarding anger issues and such, we all struggles with these, to varying degrees in our lives. Anger itself is not a sin, but to sin in anger is. But again, we are forgiven. Not a license to sin, but it's the truth.
The violence against others is something that you will need to accept that God has forgiven you for it. It takes time to accept his forgivenss especially when we have strong feelings over it.
There is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.
You may need counseling and help with these issues to come to terms with things.
However, in Christ, you are a new man, the old has past.
God bless,
tapero
