I am wrong on the third point, it is He cannot change.

But, back to that point. God gives us an age of accountability. So that means a child, who is innocent and cannot understnad the word, would still be allowed into Heaven. That also means people who have not had a chance to hear the gospel (like a third world country), still are in that innocence part. They didnt have the chance to choose.

WARNING: This could end up being another calvinist talk, lets try our best to stay away from that topic for now.

:holy:
WEll I guess I would have to ask you to further explain your question. Man cannot reach heaven with out a belief in God and Jesus. But as to coming unto that reassurance, then that I believe God could impress on anyones heart. Weither they are sinning or not.

The first is a biblical truth. The second is mere conjecture.

Whereas God has revealed to us in His nature things that He cannot do (lie, etc.). It is not revealed that man's nature in incapable of belief... that is a leap of logic that has no bridge. :)

It'd be like saying "If God cannot lie because it is against His nature. Can we then assume that man cannot digest eggplant because it is against his natutre?"

Well it cannot happen. It is like ppl saying if God can do anything then can he amke a rock that he can't pick up. He cannot make somthing he can not control, imho. Or, lift. So, he can't make a rock taht ehavy for it would deny his power. Of course there are some things he can't do, such as hate, etc. But that doesn't make him any weaker, so to speak. Hope y'all don't mind a Catholic posting here. This is just my thought.
In Christ, C.B.

In my opinion, God exists outside the logical realm so He can do anything including creating a square triangle. It's just beyond our human capabilities to understand such a thing or even to fathom it!

I say the same to you...your second conclusion is conjecture.

But God does hate. The Bible says there are things God hates. There are things Jesus hates. I know that, not because I reasoned it to be so, but because the Bible says so.

Beat me to it :).

But the fact is there ARE some things God can't do as the example of Titus 1:2 shows us.

But what can we learn from this?

This does not tarnish His holiness or sovereignty.

What it does teach us is that He can not go against what He says!

This simply parallel's the truth of 1 Sam 15:29 showing us that we can always trust in His truth and promises!

1 Sam 15:29 - Furthermore, the Eternal One of Israel does not lie or change His mind, for He is not man who changes his mind."

or Ps 89:34, Heb 7:21

When He says that those who believe in Him will take pleasure in Him forever, we can believe it and live our lives striving to glorify Him, for He cannot take it back!

A glorious truth, sorry i got a little excited^_^ .

Love-In-Christ,
