  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

There are some atheists who don´t believe in anything unless it´s proven by science. There are also those who say they don´t believe in anything unless it´s proven, but they actually do.

And on what do you base this assertion? You act as if blind credulity is a virtue to be admired and emulated. I don't think it is, rather it is something to be pitied. Think of all the people who swallow anything anyone tells them. Unscrupulous con artists have made an industry of exploiting people's belief in the supernatural. You have faith healers, psychics and mediums all making out like kings, and doing it because people believe.
Need more examples? How about Jonestown or the Comet cult? The Millions of German citizens who voted for Hitler. The millions of Americans who spend great deals of money on worthless homeopathic remedies. No, Blind credulity is not a virtue. It's a character flaw.

As for prayer, I'm sure some atheists do pray, all the same it seems rather silly to me.
