ultimately there is a sense in which that is true.
But the AI revolution allows the AI systems to "accept a request to write a new program that does whatever you wish it to do". At least that is how they are starting off .
The blend of AI technology and robot autonomy - gives that AI environment more and more new flexibility every 15 months or so.
well no .... we are not machines ..... we are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image, each unique .... we didn't come off an assembly line LOLThat was kinda God's thinking in comparison to Himself when he made us.
We definitely are machines in comparison to the spiritual realm, and now we make machines in our image to replicate what we do. We function and eventually fail/die, hopefully leaving our data in a 'cloud' in the Heavenly realm from which we were created so that perhaps one day we may be uploaded to a new system, proving we hadn't become malware..well no .... we are not machines ..... we are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image, each unique .... we didn't come off an assembly line LOL

That is such a great quote! -- thanks!Software no more “thinks” than a minute hand knows the time or the printed word “pelican” knows what a pelican is.
Would the same as "your soul is like this leaf -- notice how I pull it off the tree and watch it fly in the wind". That does not turn the leaf into an actual soul - but it is an interesting illustration. We definitely are machines in comparison to the spiritual realm, and now we make machines in our image to replicate what we do.
