Does it really since G-d is infinitely good, etc. The trinity is a relationship tool to describe how G-d act with mankind.
P.S. Doctrine is totally unnecessary.
What is more precise than Love G-d and love your neighbour as yourself and don't forget to love your enemies, and judge others as you wish to be judged (Ie. do not judge others, even if they judge you.) The Kingdom of G-d is NOW.
In LOve
Jay Sea
The attributes of God--infinitely good, etc.--are doctrine.

In orthodox Christianity the Trinity is not a relationship tool, it is the nature of God, revealed in the NT by the Son of God, the second person of the Holy Trinity.

We know three are involved in bringing about the Kingdom to come. but is it essential to know in order to get there.

We know three are involved in bringing about the Kingdom to come
Three are involved in the kingdom now:

"chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father,
through the sanctifying work of the Spirit,
for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by is blood."
--1 Peter 1:2
but is it essential to know in order to get there.
I don't think so.

But scaling down the Trinity scales down the gospel, as in the above.
It denies the majesty of God, for they have him siring/begetting inferior beings that are not divine,
redeeming by proxy, not involving his person (the Son) in the redemption
and the sanctification (by the Holy Spirit) of men,
paying no personal price, and
thereby rob him of his glory (Exodus 14:4).

They have to make God too small, and they do.
They take out the very heart, core and meaning of Christian faith in God.

Yes but three were involved in the original event.
I don't think so.
Agreed

I don't believe so. Jesus said he was sent to give the good news (Gospel) of the Kingdom, which basically said the Father would be coming back to once again live among mankind. The focus even by Jesus was on the Father alone and what was to occur. Even His prayer focuses on the Father, so a scaling down would not effect the prime reason for the Gospel of the Kingdom for that revolved around the will of the Father alone..

Where in Scripture did the Father live among mankind the first time, and
where in Scripture does it state the Father will be coming back to once again live among mankind.

Are you saying the "Gospel of the Kingdom is distinct from the Gospel of Grace,"
that there are two gospels in the NT?

In the Garden, in the desert for 40 years, in the Temple and so on. Revelation makes it clear in who resides in the New Jerusalem.

Absolutely although the Grace one is a part of the Kingdom one.

Two Gospels, one from Jesus who said the Father sent Him to teach it and it's good news and the other from mankind to try and have it both ways, continuing to govern the world and oppress while claiming to be of a forgiving God. The Gospel of the kingdom focusses on the Father while the other focuses on what is in it for man, more self interest.

We were given the Kingdom by the grace of God. We were given a chance to choose between the governance of man or the governance of God and by grace enter the Kingdom if we chose the right one. There is no forgiveness for believing there is a God or a son. Even the Adversary does that.

Revelation 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Some would argue that some doctrine would eliminate the chance for heaven. To name a few. Mormon, scientology, etc, believe in the Trinity.
Can you name a few?
This depends on whether you view them as true doctrine or false doctrine. It is only the false, the lie, that hinders us from entering into eternal life. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Romans 1:24-26
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

They worshipped the created rather than the Creator. I would include created beliefs and traditions in that group too, but that's just me.

Surely there is only one gospel, right? You can describe it as the good news, the gospel of grace, the gospel of the kingdom of God, the gospel of salvation; because it is all those things, but contained in one gospel.

Let's be careful not to assume different gospels from the one that was preached by the first apostles:

Galatians 1:8
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Speaking of switching doctrines to those of man that might keep us from the Kingdom (not heaven). Sorry but the first one preached was by Jesus and He even said it was why He was sent; to proclaim it and fulfil, the Gospel of the Kingdom. He and the 12 mention it around 72 times, and also it is said in scripture at least three times, Paul taught the Gospel of the Kingdom for years. The good news was God was coming back to live among man and dethrone man from governing and oppressing one another. That is salvation enough but Jesus died for us, yes. Only in that death would not be a finality, but now we would have the Kingdom as an option thanks to the grace of God. But of course man, being full of self interest, will either not want to give up control, or if getting into Christianity makes it about what's in it for us rather than about the will of God in His good news of the Kingdom.

Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Matthew 24: 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Luke 4: 43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

etc.

Acts 19:8 He (Paul) went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the Kingdom of God

Acts 28: 23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. 24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.

Acts 28: 30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, 31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Perhaps I should rephrase my post thusly:

There is only one gospel, that of the kingdom of God, which itself preaches the good news of the sole and sovereign lordship of the crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ; salvation through Him alone by grace, in faith, for eternity; with there being no other way to the Father except through Him; and that He shall come again to judge the living and the dead. The bible (depending on the translation) uses the phrases the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Heaven interchangeably when referring to the gospel.

There is no other gospel, no different individual ones. It's just one message. The message has different facets, which is not an unusual thing in and of itself. It is both salvation and a stumbling block. It preaches both death to sin and Life in God. But there is no other message like it. It is unique, and it is eternally true.

Yes but as Jesus did and so should we as we do in the Lord's Prayer, the onus should be put on the Father, His will and His governance through Jesus. That is the gospel of the Kingdom. It's all about Him, not us. We just get the benefits of His governance over our own. We get the benefits of serving all others instead of ourselves or just our own. Th institutions of man will fall and not a moment too soon.

Sorry but the Kingdom/governance of God over the governance of man as a better solution is what the Bible is about cover to cover. The 'option' is we either chose the ways of man or the ways and will of God. The two are direct opposites in nature so the choice is difficult for many. So in human fashion, man tries to combine the two in their theology to maintain power. Lord Lords.

Is there any doctrine which includes the Trinity belief, that will keep you from heaven?
I believe all doctrine (teaching) establish by the foundation of the Church which are the Apostels and Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as the Chief Cornerstone, is the Gospel truth. That being said, dogma(opinion) often gets mistaken for truth when in fact it is a man made caveat to salvation. This could be ones demise if not discerning. Blessings.

This is not orthodox Christianity from the apostles. . .

The Bible, from cover to cover, is about salvation from God's condemnation on sin, his new creation in the church, who are his adopted sons and heirs with Jesus Christ, seated with him in the heavenlies.

Sure... that is a watered down version, and you have described their appearance but not what they are to follow. From cover to cover God says follow His will alone, and man goes about putting theirs ahead of His and it has been going back and forth ever since. Jesus and the Apostles taught this struggle of wills was coming to an end and man would have their self serving ways knocked out from under them. The self serving world of man is not impressed. Even in the early days of the Way, Roman writers spoke of how Christians were called haters of man because they would not go along with the establishment. Even within Christianity there is a struggle between the two camps, with of course the establishment controlling the narrative of the institutional church but unable to stop those of the counter-culture of the Kingdom from following their own path based on scripture instead of the narrative controlling theologies of man that serve the establishment.

The one doctrine that can keep you from heaven is the doctrine of imputed righteousness. It can lead to a spiritual laziness and failure to perform good works. We need to be circumspect and work out our salvation with fear and trembling as Paul says. Everyone you meet, even those you most dislike or despise, are brought to you by God to see what you would do. There is not one human soul for whom Christ did not suffer and die. If He did that, what should you do?
While it is true that justification is purely from the grace of God, and we can do nothing to merit that grace, God expects us to open the doors of our hearts and cooperate with that grace. The Bible clearly teaches that we will be judged by works. 1Cor 3. If you are trusting in Christ, but fail to perform works because someone told you that you don't have to, then everything that you have will be burned up. that is Purgatory.
Some who believe in imputed righteousness may wind up in hell and be numbered among the goats, as Christ teaches us in Matthew 25. Believe me, you do not want to be one of them.
The true doctrine is of Infused righteousness, not imputed righteousness, as the Bible tells us in Revelation 3:19-22. See also Ezekiel 36:25-31.
Jesus says in Mark 1:15, REPENT and believe the Gospel. It requires action on our part to believe God, once He has given you His grace. If you think this is too harsh, and you are incapable of living free from sin, then trust in the promise of God. Seek and you will find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. Matthew 7:7.
We can take examples from the first Christian, the Virgin Mary. As she says in Luke 1:38, behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done to me according to thy word. Then we can truly say with Paul in Galatians 2, it is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me, and in 2Cor6:2 Now is the day of salvation, now is the acceptable time. Imputed righteousness leads to complacency and putting off salvation to some time in the distant future when it is too late, Infused righteousness will have you repent and live for God now, and your unrighteousness will be cleansed

So far, you all seem to be saying the same thing but with different words:).
Getting back to the revised op question:

"Are there beliefs that include steps to salvation but their doctrine would keep them from God's heaven?"
