I most certainly reap what God has sown! I benefit from Christ's completed work on the cross, not from my own efforts. God is NOT mocked by God's sovereign mercy, for God's purposes.
The proof texts you used cannot be reconciled with the rest of Scripture if you use Arminianist thought.
The Arminians theorize that God wasn't sure
if He would change His mind about who is
Elect, so the Lord had to atone for everybody
as sort of a contingency plan !

I have made no mention of men's ability to choose and how these choices are perfectly in line with what God has already preordained, but you can assume what you must to win your argument.
You deny that God has power to save anyone since anyone (potentially everyone) could resist His grace. You deny that God has ANY authority over His domain, being ALL things. You place limit on God's sovereignty, and give power to men in a realm they have no authority over.
The passage in Galatians does NOT say what God has sown. A MAN reaps what he himself sows.
What God does sow is His Word in the heart of man.
Just as you aren't sure if God elected you. You have a 50/50 chance today just as you had before the foundation of the world.
Bad proof text: Paul's letter to the Galatians is not an apologetic to unbelievers, it's a sermon to believers. Paul is not talking to a group of unbelieves about how to become saints, he's talking to a group of believers about how to overcome sin. There's a critical distinction because what he is describing is not the path to salvation, but the work involved with the process of sanctification.
MOST of Paul's writings are intended for believers, those whose salvation has already been worked out.
You keep coming back to that, and I have no idea why. There is nothing 50/50 about anything that I or anyone else has described. First off, 50-50 would describe a system that had some random chance associated with it. 50-50 implies that the Cross was "Plan B" as God had to recover from original sin. 50-50 implies that half of everyone is saved, and half are not.
50-50 is at best, wrong, at worst, a lie.
Individual believers may be sure of their salvation because they know, and more importantly, are known by Jesus Christ. There is no uncertainty in this. Where do you get this idea, and more importantly, Scripture has been given that clearly explains that we do not believe this. It leads me to believe that we are not having an open discussion among believers with the intention of finding mutual understanding, we're arguing and trying to win.
That's neither mutually edifying, nor a productive use of time.
That's a lot of words meant to negate the crystal clear words of scripture.
"A man reaps what he sows" is a warning.
Here's another:
1 Cor 6:9
9Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

If men are not Holy and Righteous (Romans 3:10), what do you expect that they would sow and inevitably reap? Unless of course there was some guiding hand that instructed one to do some good in His sight. Hmm..The passage in Galatians does NOT say what God has sown. A MAN reaps what he himself sows.

And He just walks away, leaving us to figure it out on our own?God's grace enables us to please him. His grace gives us the ability to become sons of God.

How could you say that God just walks away when He gives us the indwelling Holy Spirit, God Himself. And He just walks away, leaving us to figure it out on our own?
Exactly. You've proven the point I was making. Thank you.How could you say that God just walks away when He gives us the indwelling Holy Spirit, God Himself.
That is the silliest thing I have heard in a while.
Do you not know God's Word? He says "I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU".
That is a big error on the basic tenant of why Christ died. To reconcile us back to Himself and TO LIVE IN US.And He just walks away, leaving us to figure it out on our own?
I don't think so. You've shown that you think that God walks away.Exactly. You've proven the point I was making. Thank you.
