Who should pay t
Everybody.

It is a net benefit for everyone to have a healthy populace that isn’t burdened with unnecessary debt for the inevitable visit to a doctor or a lifesaving treatment. People shouldn’t forgo medical care because of financial concerns but that is the system we are choosing to live with currently and paying more for it than any other developed country on earth. The stupidity of this must stop at some point. This is a good step in that direction.

Therefore, are you willing and able to pay higher income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, and/or any other necessary taxes to pay for universal health insurance for everyone in America?

I would have been impressed if Newsome would have offered Medicaid to the homeless. BTW your link ain't working for me.
The homeless in CA have access to Medicaid, EBT/ food stamps all ready.

In exchange for dropping current insurance premiums and high deductible? Yes.

Even though it would mean that your higher taxes would be paying for the insurance and health care of "undocumented immigrants?"

Yes. Why does it matter what country someone was born in?

Yes. I’m tired of the “we can’t have nice things because someone undeserving might benefit too” mentality.

Um because WE are US citizens and pay taxes while THEY are not US citizens and do not pay taxes. I think anyone who says yes should be taxed.

I don't care what they do in CA nor if they go broke, however, when their budget blows up and they start begging for my tax money, then I care.
Yeah can’t have that, who do they think they are Mississippi!

If immigrants purchase goods, they pay sales tax. If they earn income, they pay income tax. If they own property, they pay property tax.
