Did anyone see this movie? It's the one with Helen Mirren and Julie Walters and a bunch of other older British actresses playing village women who decide to raise money for the hospital by creating a calendar of themselves -- nude.

Eh, it was funny and heartwarming, though also a bit risque. There were some serious themes running through the movie, so it wasn't as fluffy as I thought it might be. Thumbs up!

Yeah, me too. My favorite movie of all time (Millions) is British. I also loved Billy Elliott, The Full Monty, Bend it Like Beckham, and, of course, Calendar Girls.

British movies tend to display emotions better than American movies do. It's much more subtle. They're also weirder and quirkier than American movies.
