I've been thinking of getting one on the inside of my right wrist, it would be my first one. may be naive questions but i'm a little worried will the needles go too deep to get one there? - there are veins, does it increase chances of getting some kind of infection when veins are so close to the surface of where you're getting ink put in? it has special significance so that's where i'd like it if possible. sorry if stupid questions
Hey, there's a girl in my class who's got one on her wrist and I don't believe she had any issue with it.

If you are concerned, tho, might be best to go check it out with a tattoo artist.

I need to get money things handled in other areas first but I'd like to get a couple more.

So far I have 2:
1...a simple eagle in flight on my right shoulder
2...mountain scene with a wolf hiding in the tall grass on my right should blade.

What I want is a tribal looking cross that says FORGIVEN above it and another using a photo of my 4 sons. These two, I think, would look great on my chest...one tat on each pec

Are there any Christians Out there who have Tattoos?
I hear all the time about what it says it Leviticus but I think, for me anyway ,that I have had alot of chances to Minister the word when People have asked me about my Tattoos.
This is a place where we can talk about tatts and also what they mean to us as Christians.;)

Hello, sorry that this is totally irrelevant, but i feel i should tell you that I stole your picture that says "love, hope, faith" and its now my msn dp :p I hope you don't mind, if you do, please pm me ^_^

Sorry for the derailment, God bless ;P

Sadly the only ink I have at the moment is not a christian one...I was a huge fan of a certain band for a long time, so as soon as I turned 18 I got a hatchetman tattooed on my chest. Bad idea. In a month or two I'm getting it covered up with a design that looks like my skin is ripped open, my ribs are broken, and there is a cross burned into my heart. Then I have about 10 other designs I plan to get in the next 12 or 18 months, but first I have to get this one covered with a a good design.

Well, I am a member of the royal priesthood, a pastor (local license and I'm working on full ordination) and I have 2 tattoo's and would like more.

The Bible has half a verse in the OT that speaks against tattoo, which in context deals with honoring the dead. The verse is in Leviticus and, and if you wish to place yourself back under the Law? Well, I would advise against it. If you do and you break one part of it you are guilty of the whole Law.

Keep it in context, brother. Otherwise you have improper application, legalism, and more importantly a lack of truth.

Exactly right.
This has been said numerous times and goes ignored everytime.
