I just received a complaint from the forum that I had posted an offensive picture. As you all know who know me I would NEVER post anything I deemed to be inappropriate here. I pasted the picture of a cupid doll in my posts this morning and I have gone back and removed all of them I could find. I am extremely sorry this was offensive to anyone. Sincerely, Lynn

Lynn, it didn't offend me any at all.

I'm sorry that happened, I got the same thing you did becuz I quoted your post which had the picture in it... I was surprised it was offensive to anyone too. I didn't see it that way either and still don't.

But I hope you don't leave becuz of that... this site has it's problems & issues that come up, but just let it roll off and enjoy the majority of good things that go on here.

You were one of the first to befriend me on my return to CF and I would hate to lose that friendship because of one narrow-minded person.

Please do not leave because someone found something that you posted offensive. We cannot please everybody all of the time and I encourage you not to take this personally as it is obvious someone else's perception that brought the complaint to begin with. I hope you will choose to stay and not allow that to send you away. I enjoy you too much!

I'm agreeing with everyone above...and I hope that someone will send you an email telling you what we've all said.

There will always be someone who doesn't like something, or gets offended. I'm sorry you had to get something removed.
I have seen some cute cupid pics lately that I'd love to post, or make Val. graphics with, but most have a little naked behind, so I opted not to use them for the same reason....I knew someone would find it offensive.

Please don't leave...and I'd gladly make a banner to cover your cupid if thats what the problem was.

I am sure it wasn't a bad picture at all. I didn't see it but I read some of the other posts which give me the idea it may have been a cupids rearend or something. That's nothing.

Take it from my experience we can not please everyone. One mans trash is most certainly anothers treasure.

Don't let this be the end for you here as from what I have seen you are a great person and an asset to this place. Know I am praying for you and know I am praying for the person who was upset also.

I saw it Sun and my post was lumped with hers becuz I quoted her post and laughed at her joke with it.

It was a little child/cupid type of image, sitting on a stone bench. There was NO nudity at all in it. A white robe/material was draped over where any "nude" areas would be (frontal) in a strip... it was skimpy, but not distasteful.

Unfortunately the damage got done by it happening to her when she was just having fun w/ the jokes that went along with picture - of it being her baby picture. lol It was funny.

I hope she doesn't go, I love her humor around here.
