  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Apart from the dingle in my car - it was awesome...

HUGE 4 poster bed with this massive mosquito net on it (it was a studio apartment, below a huge house in the cliff face where Byron Lighthouse is overlooking 'millionaires row' - ie Wategos Beach).

Breakfast all inclusive, including croissants, eggs, bacon, bread, champagne and fruit juice.

Candles, aromatherapy oils, incense all over the place...

To cut it short - basically it was very nice - gorgeous gardens all around, followed by an amazing view of the beach.

Got to spend a lot of time on the beaches too, which was nice, as well as up at the lighthouse. My flatmate and his brother came down the day after the accident to cheer me up, and that was fun - rock hopped around the bottom of the lighthouse (bit dangerous without ropes, but lot of fun), which resulted in us getting drenched by some pretty amazing waves. Also had a very yummy Thai dinner that night.

Well, yeah it was great, even with the accident :) It's always nice to know you have people who care enough about you to drive two hours for just a 4 hour visit :D
