and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
“cleansing their hearts by faith”
The joy of the heart that sees this truth; that the cleansing of all that one would be cleansed from, comes through faith.....
Romans 1:17 (NASB)
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; ~~~~~~~~~”
“from faith to faith”
From one degree of cleansing (being conformed to Christ) to a deeper degree of cleansing (being conformed to Christ)
For the cleansing of God is in direct proportion to one’s faith in God... For the hearts ability to trust in God, is the vehicle scripture puts forth as that from which the cleansing comes through....
Therefore scripture puts forth faith, as a most valuable thing, more valuable than gold says scripture...
This from faith to faith, is a statement of the growing of one’s trust in God... From this degree of trusting in God, to that degree of trusting in God, to this degree of looking to God, to that degree of looking to God...
For the eyes to ever be on God is the hope of the heart that would be cleansed from all that Christ came to cleanse the heart from...
For as Christians who want to grow, we have a part to play, and that part, is the part of desiring to grow... Scripture calls this the “will is in me”, i.e. the will to grow, seeing the desire to grow is the hearts desire after God...
But thanks be to God, that even this is something He has promised to grow in the heart.... So one might with a glad heart say, Lord I’m willing to be made willing.... Oh the heart that sees an infinite truth here, for regardless of the lack, the hope is here...
To the end that one might not be stuck with themselves....Oh, to be freed from one’s self, there can be no greater freedom found then to be freed from that from which Christ came to free one from; which is one’s very self..... From this degree of freedom, to a deeper degree, from this degree of faith, to that degree of faith....Oh blessed is the heart that sees the need and hungers after such a faith ...
Because faith is relationship and relationship grows faith...
To be a new creation in Christ Jesus free from the dictates of self and the wanting of the this and the that....To the wanting of the manifestation of righteousness in all things.... Such is the freedom of the children of God...
Be blessed all into the freedom that is ours by virtue of being joined to Christ in His death and then into the resurrection of new life; in faith, by faith and through faith...
