But now I feel bad that my brother may not get to show off his new home to our family, especially our Father. My husband said my brother was very upset at him and blamed my husband for controlling and manipulating this situation. I feel bad that my brother is so upset.

That's very sad that you feel responsible for everyone's feelings. This is not healthy. Please seek pastoral counseling for yourself and your family. You are entirely too involved in others feelings and consequences of the same, in my opinion. If you had helped your brother, you would very likely have ended up in prison and I surely would not want that for you. Best wishes.

Good news! My brother just called and told my husband that he found someone else to get involved in the transaction and that he will have the house in time to show off to our family!

YOu know, I don't thionk it very cool for some people on this board to be judging this person and her situation, nor treat her the way that you are, she asked a ?, so if you have nothing good to say, then keep it to yourself. I don't like seeing disrespect on the boards and it really makes me feel like not coming back. For grown people some really act like children.

Actually, I judge the words posted, and when they start to not make sense, I call what I see.

I repent by my actions. I had a talk with my Father, I was upset at my brothers email, I was upset and talked to my brother when he called my husband a liar, I apologized to my in-laws for my parents rudeness, but the one thing I will never be convinced of is: THAT THEY MEAN TO DO THESE THINGS.

Because I visit my brother twice a month, I am like a mother to his daughters,since his wife can be unstable at times, and it was very upsetting to me when we moved away 7 months ago, and I will be making arrangements shortly to live with my brother.
