I was amazed to find when trying to find out info on this phenomonen that real estate companies are now actually selling statues to sell houses.

The thing is, it will sell only if you promise to put the statue in a place of honor in your house when it is sold.

I think the promise alone would work, and not necessarily burying the statute.

The real estate agent was on the phone weeks ago, talking about burying statues with my Husband. I thought they were teasing so i yelled out that we can bury the whole nativity set. Sooooo she comes down with a real little St. Joseph, i was not expecting that, but i handled it well, i told her to go ahead and do that, cause she is Catholic, and i'm a Baptist so i can't join her. She didn't even know who the statue was or why they bury them, so i told her what she was doing. lol She claims to be Catholic but i know she is weak in Faith, so i didn't say much at all, now a few years ago i would have freaked out on her for doing that, and no doubt confused her more than she is already about being Christian.

That is pretty funny. I am lifeguard at a not for profit agency and the People from the Arthritis foundation were in the pool discussing this very topic because one of the members is having a rough time as well. But in the pool was a former priest and two nuns so I think they got the subject right ;)

I assure you it will work.
Just promise a place of honor. :)

God Bless.
