Slightly off-topic, but...

I saw a great vanity license plate yesterday on a new Jaguar:

I wonder if the driver knows what that meant, or if he just wanted something that sounded English?

And how did that get by the censors at the tag office?

Dadgummit. That got caught by the profanity censors. (Hey -- this is my first time! I'm not a profanity virgin anymore!) Anyhoo, the second word on the license plate is a 4-letter synonym for touch, more commonly used in British English than American English.

Yeah unfortunately it's a lot harder to immigrate from Canada to the US- and the fact that I was a poor college student, and he already had established a carreer making good money... it was just smarter.

Love to -- but they have an immigration "point system" like everyone else these days, and it penalizes anyone over 35 unless you're independently wealthy or at least making 6 figures. Trust me.

We make a comfy living and we're both professionals -- and he barely makes the points and I'm 5 under due solely to being over 35.

I bet some people are having a hard time picturing MORIAH CONQUERING WIND as a corporate professional ....
