and here is one I created (edited) for my profile pic on some other sites.......

I don't get it. What is facing the enemy supposed to signify if a corpse does so?

I always interpreted it to mean that the person died fighting.

Indeed. As Samurai, one must show great determination in the face of oncoming adversity. Not only does it represent dieing in battle it has a pychological impact for your enemy. Imagine you go to fight your enemy and you have to step over hundreds of corpses all facing your direction. Spooky?

In this way it is also a maxim about community (church).

Our area is completely infested with Subarus--to the point that I spent a couple of minutes in front of one parked at the grocery store vainly trying to unlock it, only to discover that it was somebody else's. It was exactly the same model of Legacy Outback in exactly the same color.

So we put the obligatory ACLU ("Freedom can't defend itself") bumper sticker on it. Now I look at all the bumper stickers on Subarus to find ours. This has led me to wonder--what would happen if you put a "W" sticker on a Subaru? Would it blow up or something?

Nah. Although in some parts of the country, it may cause your tires to be slashed. In other parts of the country, a Kerry sticker could cause your tires to be slashed.

I hail from the great white north (aka Canada), and my reason for moving here, is my husband (fatburger). He's extra special, because I normally wouldn't consider moving here for anyone or anything... I just love him that much (Though I secretly long for the day when I can move back to my homeland, and take advantage of all the money I will be saving on healthcare )
