  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does anybody here use a bullworker? I've started doing isometric exercise as I've heard it can help lower high blood pressure... mines a bit high.
Also, it's quite quick to use so that's good for me because I'm not really in the habit of exerciser.
Anybody else find it useful?

Just the other day my dad was talking how he used to use one to strengthen his back periodically. It helped keep his back strong and prevented pain.

I had one years ago and it was excellent. I do some light weights and a few of the Charles Atlas type isometrics. It all works.

(Originally read the title as Bullwinkle exercise and clicked to find out if it had anything to do with moose or squirrel. :) )

Wow, I haven't seen or heard of one of these in YEARS. I remember my dad having one he never used when I was very small and I wasn't strong enough to get it to do anything at all. Not sure what happened to it, but my guess is that my mom eventually donated it to charity.
