Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. To keep mosquitos from biting during the summer months, start taking Vit. B around the first of April and continue taking it through the summer months. It's important to start a few months before mosquitos get bad though. The Vit. B releases a scent from your body that mosquitos can smell, but humans can not. They won't bite you. My pediatrician shared this secret with my mom when I was very young because I was having such severe reactions to the bites. He said there really is no scientific reason why it works, but that it does - and I'm here to tell you, it really does. I've taken it every year that I remember to start early enough, and the years that I have taken it, I have managed to go the whole summer with less than 5 bites - a far stretch from when I don't take it! Give it a shot next year if you live in a heavily mosquito populated area like I do!
