Bud "lite" snuck up on me

Several years ago i was asked if i had a drinking problem. my response: i only drink beer, and i never get drunk. now years later everything i mentioned is still true, the only difference is i drink a lot of BEER and i still don't get drunk. i go to work everyday, Church every Sunday, But i recently tested myself and i could not stop drinking. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME! i need some serious prayer, i can not go to my Church, Family or Loved ones.

Hi bobhow, praying for you, it sounds like you're on the right path if you're now realizing there's a problem; the thing is, part of the healing process requires your being honest with those whom you love and fellowship with. While that may seem like a monumental task, you might be pleasantly surprised at the release of such a burden. If it were me, I'd talk with my pastor first. AA is a viable option as well. I truly hope that you get the help you need, God bless you.
