Once again you fail to see what Christianity is. It is not religion. You can have any religion you want, go! Christianity is a RELATIONSHIP with Messiah. All religions are mans attempts at reaching something/someone. CHRISTIANITY IS GOD REACHING DOWN TO MAN AND MAKING HIM BORN AGAIN. IT'S ALL HIS WORK, NOTHING TO DO WITH MANS WORK.

That is why most stumble upon it. As for your not falling on your knees and asking forgiveness; well if you are too proud to come to GOD on His terms, then you will pay the consequences.

You either come to God with a broken and contrite heart and ask for forgiveness for your sins and ask to become born again; or you stay a Sinner in the hands of an Angry God.

I hope for your sake God drags you to Himself. If He does, you will bow the knee and become born again.

But it is a religion. An orgnized belief system around a being or beings is a religion. Yours is centered a being called god with christ tagging along in tow. Christ is, btw, nothing more than a sun god in diguise.

You just ignored basically everything I said.

God will not receive my worship by threatening me. That may work for you, but if someone points a gun at me and says I have an option, do what he wants or do what I want and get shot, Im going to get angry. Then when the man claims to be doing it for my own good or to help me I am not going to believe that.

If God will speak to me as a reasonable and rational entity rather than threaten me with punishment should I turn my back on him, then I will speak with him. But I refuse to obey the wishes of anyone who stands there and stamps their feet like a petulant child demanding they get what they want.

If this is the case, I have a feeling there are very few "Christians" by your definition. And more to the point, I seriously doubt all the other "Christians" out there appreciate you telling them what they do and do not believe and what they are and are not. Perhaps its time for you to sit down and put together a list of attributes that TRUE Christians have, that way those of us who don't have your holy clarity of thought can begin to distinguish between all of you..

Perhaps then you can begin to re-label all the others out there who dare call themselves "Christians" but do not agree with your every opinion..

The "no true christan" arguement is often used as a last ditch effort to win a debate. It doesn't work but it's still fun to watch people turn on their own kind to make a point.

The cult of Sheeana, for example, in book five, heretics of dune, held that the woman had died on Dune when in fact she was alive in chapterhouse...

The same thing with the christ myth. They used x-tianity to unite an empire and control the masses. You can scare ignorant peasants into obedienace if you tell them they'll burn in hell for not listening to the priests or what "god, jesus, insert other deities" tell them.
