Broken Images over your CF Characters? Unequip & Re-equip!

We've deleted over 2,000 old image files from the old Armor of God system.

As such, if you have an old image equipped, it will show up as a broken image.

You can easily fix this by unequipping the old image, and re-equipping it again.

I've unequipped and re-equipped my purple ribbon (alzheimer's awareness) but it's still not showing up on my character. My yellow ribbon is there, but not the purple one. I don't know why this is. Do you have any ideas?

you can only Equip one ribbon at a time if i am correct 3 special items, but only 1 ribbon

If so, that's a new thing, because before the characters were put in place I had both ribbons equipped, and they both showed up. Can anyone confirm please?

I didn't know they had to both go in the same place. I figured there are three slots for special items - one behind the character, two on the character, so the other ribbon would go in the second slot.

You can trade off the ribbons every now and then. They both go in the same place, so when you equip two, one is hidden behind the other.

I think you still have a couple of days to return your items for full refund, if you choose to do that.

I don't know how to return special items. The only items giving me the option of returning them are the items my character is wearing. Is there someplace to return special items that I am missing? And will I get a full refund for the extra ribbon, or just 1/3 of its value, since it is not on the list of returnable items that Erwin supplied?

If you click on the "Armor" link at the top of this page, you get a list of your entire inventory. To the right of each picture is a "Return" link. You should be able to still get full refund for all items.

Never mind, I found where to return it. The only question now is the value of the return. It's not that big a deal, cost-wise. I guess it's just the principle of the thing. I don't feel I should be penalized for the cost of a ribbon that was visible before the characters went into place, and is not visible now. So if staff or Erwin can clear this up, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Thanks. I do want this confirmed though, because in the post where Erwin talked about getting 100% refunds, he mentioned specific items items that could not be transferred over to the new system. The ribbons weren't on the list, so I'm not convinced I can get a full refund for it, unless I've missed another post somewhere.

He was just listing items that were to be deleted, but has it coded in so that ANY item returned receives full refund. I know we are getting close to the end of that time period, however, so you'll need to do it soon.

I do? I can't see that in my posts. However, I do notice that my pillow/sword is missing now. It was there before.

What's broken over my character? And where's my pillow?

I just unequipped and re-equipped my pillow and it's back. But I still don't see a broken image above my character. I think things are a little screwy today.

So this is why some people are showing up as invisible? Their clothes are there, but the "doll" has vanished.
