British judge denies US extradition request for WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange, citing suicide risk

Good. The US muddied the waters of extradition agreements, so I'm happy for Assange to stay here even if he's being used as a pawn.

According to the judge, he is not well enough too attend the hearing. This seems like a cop-out.

He continues to be held in Belmarsh, which will not do much for his mental health, said to be fragile. As he is Australian so he could be returned there - when he is fit to fly...

I've never been happier to see my country denied. I pray Assange will be pardon, and that the Glowies don't bite.
