CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We all have our story to tell. There is a REASON that we suffered through such agony and hardship.
And that REASON, is because we have a story to tell, so that others can KNOW that there is HOPE and there is a LIGHT at the end of that dark tunnel.

Lot's Wife.
Let Lot's wife serve as a reminder of "looking back". Even after staunch and SOS warnings right from God through His angels, sent to rescue Lot and his family, she looked back.
The bottom line is, she WASN'T GOING that way.

Hope.
God's HOPE is like wearing springs on the bottoms of our shoes. We get a certain "bounce" from it, and a resiliency. It's like He puts us on His shoulders to show us that THAT mountain in our way, is just a temporary "inconvenience", and of no consequence. We are given the same HOPE and insight that David was imbued with when he not only faced that big ol' bully Goliath, but RAN towards him. And do you know why David RAN towards Goliath? It's because he KNEW that GOD "had this", and that the battle wasn't "his" battle. It was God's battle.
