I got this idea from mrstace's "The Letting Go Barrel" thread in this forum. That barrel is for throwing away past relationships and memories, etc. The Table here is for things you can't do alone....things you know you have to just put at His feet and pray that He will show you His answer(s)..... "Let go and let GOD."

Ps. 68:19 -- "Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens."

Mt. 11:28-30 -- "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

OK - I'll start.

1. I'm finishing up my computer studies in the next couple months. I am preparing for the second half of the A+ exam (OS part), and I am just plain scared I won't pass! It was revised last year, and half the questions deal with Windows XP, which I don't have experience with yet. On top of that, I still need to find a job (or two, or three...) and an apartment to live in soon.

2. There's a Christian guy I met online in '97--around November 1st, All Saint's Day. I was in South Dakota, and he is/was in New Mexico. About 18 months later, Adam's dad found out about our friendship; apparently he was e-mailing me behind his dad's back, but I hadn't known. His dad told him to end it, so we did. I understand, he loved Adam and didn't want to see any harm come out of Internet friendships. (There had been a rape/murder in their city not long before, when one woman invited a male 'Net companion to her home.) But I just can't forget Adam. He's everything I want in a Christian husband, and nobody comes close to that standard I set. Adam will be 27 in March, and I really miss him still. I've tried giving this to God, but I keep taking it back.

I cast all my cares upon You
I lay all of my burdens, down at Your feet
And anytime, I don't know what to do
I will cast all my cares upon You.
