He blinked.
"Oh, I thougt some one was up there are that you were talkin about merchents or something. If I had known you where talking about the Kaiaa, and Kalis then I could have easied your worries sooner."
With that he stood and romoved what appeared to be a green rock from one of his many pouches. Then he began to mutter under his breath. Slowly the stone rose from his hand and flashed first purple then red.
"What is it Raven?" Kaiaa's voice said suddenly filling the clearing.
"There's a pass near where our friends are at can you do anything to decrease their numbers with it?" Raven said aloud.
"Don't know. I'll need to get a closer look. Try back in ten."
"Will do."
With that the stone dropped back into his hand and resumed it's normal color.

*As the stone changed color and Kaiaa's voice came from it, the villagers leaned forward then backed away.. not far just a bit..*

From the back of the group, a young girl, barely of age, timidly came forward. Her hair was short and unruly, and the color of old straw, and she donned only a plain brown dress and a dirty apron. Her feet were bare.
She gulped and looked at the elf with big eyes, as though terrified he too would turn into a monster any second.
"I--I--... My pa--," every word seemed to be a struggle for her, and she fiddled with the edges of her apron, "he-- he's got--." She turned her face to the ground and closed her eyes. The girl took a deep breath.
"My pa's got a catapult," she said very slowly. "A small one... not far from here. Built it himself. Would it help?"

"No... we don't hunt much. He just built it for fun..." she replied. Then she took another breath and dared herself to look up at the elf, but as soon as she saw him eye-to-eye she turned and fled in a fit of nervousness, back down the street towards her home.

'umm... sir I am not sure, but my family might be of some help.' states a young man in his teens, he has a banadana hiding his hair as his eyes sparkled green with flashes of sliver in them.

Raven smiled evily. He then reactivated the stone he had used before except a LOT quicker this time.
"Kaiaa, we've got warbeasts!"
"Great! What type?"
"Umm....."
"You didn't ask did you?"
"I was going to!"

"Will lad, I think now would be a good time to find that out don't you think?" he asked looking at him sternly.
"All typs Kiaa," he reported. "But I don't know if their willing to help."
Kaiaa said somethings in their languge to witch Raven laughed then agreed. With that the comunication stopped.
