[Thunderring]

"Get of me you big lug! You're crushing me!" Kaiaa growled from undernith him. Suddenly both dragons where up and looking intently toward the forest.

"Is that not?" Kalis's voice rumbled.

"Yes it is," she muttered before shouting. "TO ARMS, TO ARMS! EVERYONE TO ARMS! They're coming and they're coming in fast!"

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

*At Kaiaa's call, the villagers who were armed ran towards her. Ellendryle darted into the hut and returned with her quiver and bow. It took a moment to string it, then she ran towards the others. Of the villagers, only two others had much skill with the bow but they were armed with the tools they used most often, scythes and clubs. The innkeeper and the guildmaster had spear and sword. Jenthrie came from the forge armed with shield and a huge morningstar. *

"Set up a defense around the villiage. Children and women need to douse everything with water incase they try to burn us out. Me and Kalis will take to the sky in hops of killing them from up there. Any questions?" she barked out.

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

Ellendryle reached out and grabbed Jainthre's son by the arm.. "I might need you here.. please?" The young lad looked up and nodded, his face grim. She smiled, "please get some water while we have time.. there might be a lot of wounded.." As he grabbed the buckets and headed to the well, she moved towards the edge of the village, waiting..

 

[Thunderring]

"I dona like this young one," Kalis's voice said softly.

"I don't either Kalis, but what else can we do?" Kaiaa said back just as softly.

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

*** The scouts coverged on Raven's hiding place, sword and spear brandished as they waited for him to hopefully bolt and run.. ***

 

[Thunderring]

Raven drew the horn to his lips once more and blew, yet no sound emarged.

Suddenly Kaiaa shoot into the air and winged toward the battle feild.

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

**The nearest of the enemy lunged toward Raven with his sword swinging in an arc from upper left arm to lower right leg. He was fast and sure of himself**

 

[Thunderring]

To their suprise Raven went up. Stright up the tree. Just then the roar of a very mad dragon sounded through the valley.

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

*The first attacker fell forward when his blade encountered air; the third one hurled his spear towards the ascending elf and the second ran towards the others.*

 

[Thunderring]

Then the dragon, Kaiaa, was there. She swooped in as Raven jumped, and just bearly caught her feet.

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

*The three scouts yelled in suprise and seperated quickly, one heading back towards the army and the others picking up anything they could throw at the two enemies. Unfortunatly, neither one had a bow or crossbow**

 

[Thunderring]

(lol you mean fortunitly.)

"Time to go Kaiaa," Raven yelled over the wind.

"I'm not that stubid Raven," she yelled back. "I know!"

They quickly made it back to the village. While they we're still a good twelve feet up Raven let go.

**below, the scouts ran towards the fleeing pair, yelling insults**

Once Raven had saftly landed Kaiaa took off toward where she had picked up Raven.

**Back in the village, those gathered were relieved to see Kaiaa return. The rest grabbed their weapons and moved to the edge of the village**

 

[Thunderring]

"I take it she is going to destroy the scots." Kalis asked in more qustion then statement.
"What else would she be doing?" Raven asked dryly makeing sure he had all his needed weapons. Kalis nodded his head in agreement.

**The third scout was well on his way back to the army and the others were following the elf and dragon when suddenly there was a blur of a dark purple dragon flying down towards them. Very shortly afterward, there were three charred lumps that had not decorated the ground earlier..**
