[Thunderring]

She shook her large head no.

"I will as soon as Raven reports back. Now to battle, to war!" With that she took to the sky with a single beat of her strong wings, as Raven slipped away to see what he could see.....with out getting caught.

Slowly he slipped through the brush, as quite as possible, heardly even breathing, eyes scanning alertly for any sign of the enamy.

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

*The village resembled a hive of all inhabitants furiously attempting to do the best they could to gather supplies that were needed. Ellendryle carefully carries the twin blades Kaiaa has lent her, not at ease with them, but then again she has not been on the forefront of the battlelines. *

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

* Ellendryle quickly gathered the spare bandages and stock of medicinal herbs she had, then built up the fire under the kettle. She added water and some of the ground willowbark to make a tea to help lessen the pain of those who were wounded. * ~Wonder who is behind this army? must be a crazed ruler to go against dragons..~ * the elf-healer thought, as she moved the screen aside, making as much room available for pallets on the floor as she could.*

 

[Thunderring]

Meanwhile:
A dragons call echoed through the valley. Moments latter another call was heard.

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

*Ellendryle covered her ears as the two calls echoed throughout the air and walked outside to see where they were coming from. The only things she saw in the air were a rapidly flying purple dragon and the dust settling from Kaiaa's takeoff.*

*** The scouts and leaders of the army quickly finished their talk. The largest and strongest of those leading the army was headed back to the rest when the unknown cry echoed in the air. He looked up then shouted "DRAGON! " Within minutes the army was headed towards the narrow pass, the ground trembling underneath their feet***

 

[Thunderring]

(Running away or toward?)

Soon two dragons circled above the villiage and each other.

(towards the pass... )

*Ellendryle looked up as another dragon joined Kaiaa, not quite able to distinguish its color .* ~looks bigger then Kaiaa..hard to see for sure~ *The elf-healer looks around, noticing that there were several groups of villagers watching from behind their homes. Still clutching the twin blades she heads to the forge.*
"Jianthre! Ye might want to see this!" *the ringing of hammer on metal continues for a minute or so longer then the smith appears, sweat dripping from his body.* "What is it , Ellendryle?" *he looks up at the dragons circling and whistles softly* "Another dragon?! Isn't one enough?" *Jianthre heads back to work, mumbling about how much dragons eat*

*Chuckling, Ellendryle walks back to her home, feeling a strange stirring in her mind and the blades in her hand begin to glow very softly*<are you ready, healer?> *the thought contued* <I can help you.. if you are not afraid..> *the tiny hairs on Ellendyle's neck prickled and her heartbeat increased* ~Afraid?! Yes, I am if ye must know! I never liked fighting and I hae seen more then my share..!!~
*the scar along her left temple grew whiter as she replied*

(So their running away from the villiage?)

Suddenly one of the dragons roared as if it had been struck and very quickly began to loose altitude.

(gtg. forgot to rinse the brush out last night....)

 

[Ellendryle of Sunrising]

(the army is headed thru the pass towards the village.. they are planning on feasting tonight on the remains of the inhabitants..))

As the thoughts continued in her mind, Ellendryle glanced up, muttered a few words which shouldnae been repeated and moved out of the way of the rapidly falling dragon...

The guildmaster and his crew too, looked up and grabbed what they could of their tools and scattered. It looked as if the dragon would land very near the inn naturally the most crowded part of the village.

((brb have to check how the homemade bread is doing- it should be done the first batch anyway..))

(home made bread? do we get some too? lol jk)

The dragon that was fallowing was most deffinatly not, Kaiaa as it was an emerald green. Kaiaa dove toward the other dragon and got undernieth it trying to boost it up.

((I won't be able to bring some by until Steve gets home.. but I do plan on sharing.. ))

*** The first third of the army (100) has reached inside the pass and the scouts are ranging ahead, eager for any sign of prey. A lot of animals have fled in front of them, like they would before a forest fire..As of yet, no one is aware of anyone daring to spy on their movements***

Raven watched in awe and terror as the enemy came swiftly toward them. Turning around he rushed back while removing a very special horn from his pack.

Meanwhile: Kaiaa had finally managed to get undernieth the other dragon and only bearly managed to get him in postion to land with out hurting himself.

"Dang it Kalis! Get a hold of yourself! We've got to stop these things, and we won't be able to do that if you get both of us hurt!" she yelled loud enough for everyone to hear.

*As soon as both dragons landed, Ellendryle moved closer, the light that betokened her gift shining thru her hands, she had managed to strap the swords on but they hung askew.

The voice in her mind grew louder< LET me take over! you can't heal a dragon by yourself>
"Kaiaa! What d'ye thing ye are doing!! " *inside, her gut turned cold at the thought of dealing with a broken wing *

*** The scouts were now closer to Raven and suddenly the one in the lead stopped, sniffed the air then ran towards where he has been hiding. "Filthy spy! I'll have your heart as a snack! Get him!"

The other two scouts shout encouragement and move in position to flank the brush alongside Raven's hiding place***
