That is not what the evidence says. It will destroy us economically, it will break up the union, and open the doors to hatred and bigotry.Better still, leave the EU on no deal to save our nation.
You're obviously on the Project Fear payroll if you believe that silliness. That is not what the evidence says. It will destroy us economically, it will break up the union, and open the doors to hatred and bigotry.
The UK government announced on Tuesday (20 August) that its officials will stop attending most EU meetings as of 1 September in order to focus efforts elsewhere ahead of its expected withdrawal from the bloc. London will also cede its voting rights to Finland in areas that are no longer of interest.
Brexit negotiator David Frost told fellow diplomats in the note that Finland should use its power of attorney over the British vote “in a way that does not prevent the EU from moving ahead”.
Sorry but paying attention to warnings from economists, the Bank of England, the CBI and using ones brain there is only one intelligent conclusion. A no deal brexit that will tear apart the supply chains for British businesses, increase costs and regulations, will inevitably be terrible for the economy. You're obviously on the Project Fear payroll if you believe that silliness.
If shortages of food and medicine, a tumbling pound, unemployment, inflation and having to accept American food standards are 'saving our nation', the yes. Meanwhile, in the real world, we will stop Brexit or, if that cannot be done, rejoin the EU within 5 years.Better still, leave the EU on no deal to save our nation.
Its never reality until proven by events, and UK economists, the Bank of England, and the CBI etc. all have a long track record of being consistently wrong in their forecasts.Sorry but paying attention to warnings from economists, the Bank of England, the CBI and using ones brain there is only one intelligent conclusion. This is not project fear, it is observing reality.
Another shill for the EU.If shortages of food and medicine, a tumbling pound, unemployment, inflation and having to accept American food standards are 'saving our nation', the yes. Meanwhile, in the real world, we will stop Brexit or, if that cannot be done, rejoin the EU within 5 years.
And I repeat tearing down supply chains, increasing costs through having to pay tariffs, negotiate red tape, destabilising the uk economy will be disastrous for the Uk economy. Its never reality until proven by events, and UK economists, the Bank of England, and the CBI etc. all have a long track record of being consistently wrong in their forecasts.
People wanting to know the future after Brexit would do better to look at the tea leaves in the bottom of their cup, or reading their horoscope, than listening to these biased muppets.
Never forget that the CBI campaigned for Britain to join the ERM, exchange rate mechanism, which was a massive disaster for the national economy and destroyed countless businesses.
Why economic forecasting has always been a flawed science
The CBI and the EU
As I’ve said the Tories are aiming for no brexit, and sabotaging any future governments attempts to rejoin. So from the home office planning to treat eu citizens like the windrush immigrants, to refusing to pay £39billion owed, to a trade deal with the US which will carry billions, if not trillions of pounds of penalties if the UK rejoins the EU.If shortages of food and medicine, a tumbling pound, unemployment, inflation and having to accept American food standards are 'saving our nation', the yes. I guess you actually mean 'no deal Brexit'?As I’ve said the Tories are aiming for no brexit,
Thankfully, they have a majority of just one MP - Brexit will not go ahead.and sabotaging any future governments attempts to rejoin. Except that Brexit is the default. Boris is planning to call a general election, and if he gets his way it will be at the same time as we crash out. A no deal brexit is pretty much certain at this point.I guess you actually mean 'no deal Brexit'?

Wit the Tory vote split with the Brexit Party and UKIP, and the Labour vote split with the Lib Dems (who are now more popular than at any point since the 1920s) I predict a hung parliament, followed by a Lib/Lab/Green/SNP/Plaid coalition. This would stop brexit in its tracks.British PM Johnson's party takes 14 percent point lead over Labour: Kantar poll
He is aiming an election, and given Corbyn will back a general election, we are heading to no deal.

Well with the opposition refusing an early election, and Boris pledging not to obey the law passed by parliament, will he resign, call a vote of no confidence in himself, or hope to get the opposition to call a vote of no confidence. In the British electoral system 42% means a landslide victory much as the BREXIT party got in the Europeans. But a majority of people support a new poll on BREXIT and a majority preferred Revocation in the European election.
Only 23% support a hard Brexit according to this latest poll.
So it looks like Boris will win an election and hard Brexit will happen by default. Though tactical voting could destroy his election plans.
If hard Brexit goes through and Boris wins I will blame Labour for failing to get rid of Corbyn. With a different leader we could unite the majority against Brexit.
He'll do whatever has the highest chance of running the clock down.Well with the opposition refusing an early election, and Boris pledging not to obey the law passed by parliament, will he resign, call a vote of no confidence in himself, or hope to get the opposition to call a vote of no confidence.
