sorry i don't like a band you do, i just thnink they are annoying and bland, much like the other bands i listed, and if my brother had listened to more annoying bands, i'd have listed them too.
And since soceity, and CF these days require an argument to make my opinion valid, here it is...
MCR is bland and annoying becuas of a few things
1. Song structure and flow: its weak, same old verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus, not interesting and uninnovative, and in some of their songs, the guitars are so blended together, i can bareley discern a riff change. Also, the constand power chord thing is far overdone.
2. Appeal: who do they appeal to? the mainstream society, what goes and comes quickly in that society?....wow, fads. Compare and save
3. Image: people seem to think they are 'gothic', 'dark' and 'deep', wearing eye liner, black and talking about death doesn't make one goth, and when people think such people are gothic, it puts a band name on true ones. Note: there seems to be a few bands like this
meh, its late and i don't feel like typing anymore, though i've typed alot already. I'm tired and can't afford to make any mistakes, lest i be booted out of the Grammar Nazi Society
