• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

All I can say is, you need to not worry about it! As a BPD survivor, I know this for a fact. God can take all of your mood swings, no matter how severe they may be, and set your mind straight. He is not offended by it, but understands what you are going through.
We all change our views on God often, sometimes many times a day, but for someone with BPD, that will be much more often, and much more severe. You need to keep going, and keep learning to put all of your trust in Him.

If you want to talk, feel free to PM me. I've been where you are.
Or ask me anything in the thread if you wish.

Hi Emli,

I’d love to know more about how you were healed through god. I wanted to send you a private message but I don’t know but know how to do that. Also if you’ve removed spirits I’d love to know how.

Thanks,

Diana

I'm also a BPD survivor even had the fun of the MH system to boot! I found that actually in all the emotional turmoil in my life God is the one unchanging constant and the knowledge of that is grounding and I've built my recovery on that. I saw a GP who I hadn't spoken to since Xmas and she was surprised at how I'd been stable so long. I told her it's because I'm building good strong relationships through church and god and she asked me more about God (first I was like proper worried thinking "oh dear is she questioning me because I'm religious and have BPD") but she then said to me that she was genuinely interested as she'd been brought up an atheist and didn't know much about God!
Hi Amy-Rebekah,

I’m new to this site and couldn’t figure out how to message you privately. I’d love to hear more about how you cured yourself of BPD. I’m struggling a lot at the moment and trying to get closer to God and give my fears and worries to him. I was wondering how you went about it and if it involved removing any negative spirits.

Thanks,

Diana

I am not confident you will receive a reply, the member has not been on the website since April 2018. Also, to answer your question about sending messages, here is the rule:

When and how can I start a conversation?
Once you have made at least 20 posts and have 5 positive post ratings, you can initiate conversations with other members. To do this, you can either click on Start a Conversation under the member's name, or click on your Inbox, and click on Start a Conversation at the bottom of the pop up.
