CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love Dog the Bounty Hunter. Did you see the episode where he and Beth finally got married? It was bitter sweet.
Yeah, I did! It was great and leading up to the wedding had lots of funny moments. And it was such a beautiful setting and they all looked great!
But, yes, it was very bitter sweet. Poor Dog and his poor son too.
They are an interesting bunch!

They are a funny bunch. I used to not know what to think of Beth but the wedding episode gave me a different view point of who she is. I guess I'm so used to seeing her with a tough exterior.
I love how Dog and Beth can identify with a lot of the people they're catching due to their past.

Yeah, the wedding show was really great. I loved how Dog said they were going to get married to do what was right in the sight of the Lord.
I don't know a lot of their back ground, but they do seem really compassionate to the people they catch.

Beth has talked about how she was a teenage, unwed mother who ended up giving up her child because she was not capable of taking care of her. She was into drugs and drinking and finally got her life together.
Dog has talked about his drug abuse as a young man and time he spent in jail and how he became a born again Christian.
These are people who have walked a mile in the shoes of the people they're catching. I think this gives them the ability to really touch the lives of these people because they can see that there is a way out of the drug and alcohol abuse.

Brian and I watch it a lot. I think it's a good show. Brian always talks about how he doesn't like Beth, but I think shes cool. She tells it like it is, and sometimes I wish I was like that.

I really hope the 3 of them don't get sent back to Mexico. I hope they can work out an alternative punishment.

Interesting show last night...showed them working very closely with the police and the police were then the ones to make the catch.

I don't know how I missed this thread! I love Dog and the group, my hubby and I watch every week - although it was interfering with our watching of House, but then they changed the air time of House

If he spends one day in a mexican jail its a travesty. I'll be highly upset. He's helped alot of people and they toss him in jail for getting back a CRIMINAL!!
