Bottomless Pit

I never really thought about this topic until I seen this video.

What do you think?

Hmmm very interesting. I doubt that it is accurate but I guess it is a kind of explanation. I'm not disparaging it as it is better than I could have come up with. I just think the real thing might be our human level of comprehension of matter, time and space.

There is no gravitational pull. Gravity is a push according to Einstein. I saw the bottomless pit when I was 8 years old in a dream. "When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss." The bottomless pit is a volcano and the smoke is from an eruption. This is what can be seen with our natural eyes and the physical realm. Of course there is a lot of stuff going on in the Spiritual realm that we can not see with our natural eyes. I did not see anything in the spiritual at the time. I only saw in the natural or physical world.

I mistyped. I meant it will be outside our current level of comprehension. I suspect that the physical constrains our understanding. Once free from our trappings in this flesh like existence and in our heavenly bodies I think we'll understand. You see, I suspect time doesn't apply to the spiritual like it does in this universe that God created.

I know I can't support this with verses btw, so please no one think I am trying to state these supposition, but feelings as any type of truth or fact.

Time is different in Heaven because we are spiritual and will not have a physical body. We will learn and grow a lot quicker there.

Yh, I don't think time as we know it will apply anymore. I think Heaven is outside of time. After all, it existed before creation.

A lot of things become different in Heaven. I had a dream about a daughter that would be 40 if she had been born. In Heaven she was very small. Maybe two or three years of age. Yet there are people that lived to be 100 and they look young like they are in their late 20's. Heaven is real just like the Earth is real. We are spiritual in Heaven but Heaven is more then spiritual.

Paradise was in sheol, and is where all the OT saints went at death, Paradise was taken up with Christ and all who were in there into heaven when Christ ascended back to the Father. So paradise is no longer in hell. Paul also says he was caught up into the 3rd heaven in Paradise, which of course occured after Christ ascended.

John 3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

Not even Elijah went to heaven to be with God until Christ came to bring them all together at once into heaven.

The bottomless PIT is under the earth, this goes back to the creation of earth and the heavens and the great deep. The DEEP, well that is everything under the earth and the heavens.
Look up the 'deep' in scripture and you will see the OT understanding that there is Heaven, then earth, then the deep under the earth and it is bottomless, with the earth standing out of the waters of the great deep, and also in the waters of the deep. So the earth is the middle ground with heaven above and the deep below, and in the great deep is a place called hell, sheol, gehenna, lake of fire, all that is under the earth. If you conceptualize this as flat, it makes more sense, because how does a sphere like earth have a bottomless pit...
