I agree. Romans 5:3-5 goes well with 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, in my opinion.Absolutely! He provided an example of endurance under duress since he faced persecution and many trials which tested his Christian mettle.
That's why he wrote the following way in his letter to the church in the city of Philipi.
You're not GOD though. You can suggest and offer your opinions but in the end, it is HIS WORD that has authority over all our suggestions and opinions
Read Luke 4 against Isaiah 61 and tell me the current ministry
The truth of 1 John 2:27
Father. The best. Who provided a WAY for all HIS disobedient children to come to HIMThat is also known as the Stockholm syndrome. I don't bow down to a tyrannical mafia boss.
So you think that the precious and cost GIFT of HIS SON can be passed up and treated as a secondary option?
Father. The best. Who provided a WAY for all HIS disobedient children to come to HIM
How do you think those who believe in it believed in it?That only makes sense to those who believe in it, people of other faith have their own holy scripture to rely on, and they believe in it as much as you do
No HE doesn'tI know how your mafia boss operates. He leaves the obedient people alone but kills and tortures the ones that are disobedient.
I fail to see how that is moral though.
There are many pastors that preach the prosperity gospel today in megachurches and live like a rockstar,....the message of the bible is highly dependent on the preacher....
Ironically, despite biblical indications to the contrary, when Protestantism emerged in conjunction with the industrial revolution material prosperity in this life became indicative of a reward or blessing from God while poverty, or lack of material prosperity, became indicative of God's disapproval or as a curse. I see that mentality in certain churches today where the emphasis is placed more on getting rich than it is on gaining salvation via Jesus' Ransom Sacrifice. The scriptures lead me, and i dont see prosperity doctrine in scripture. I see love and sowing to the spirit. The apostle Paul says that godliness is not about gain, and the Lord said we will have treasure in heaven. I dont think heaven uses money. The scriptures say that we cannot take money with us.
How do you think those who believe in it believed in it?
Don't you understand that there are those who have literally heard HIS VOICE and call?
Don't you understand that there are those who have literally heard HIS VOICE and call?
No HE doesn't
By the way, please identify for us the obedient since THE WORLD already says that HE has turned all over to disobedience
So that all mouths will be silenced on that day and no man can profess himself
Will you tell GOD that HE made a mistake?
See Romans
I have observed people shaming the poor, by questioning their faith. On the flip side, you have those who criticize the rich or people who are better off financially, saying they're nothing but greedy.
Shaming the poor and criticizing the wealthy are both extremes, on polar ends of the spectrum.
Interesting point. I'll need to meditate on that.On the flip side, you have those who criticize the rich or people who are better off financially, saying they're nothing but greedy.
