"Born Again Virgin"

I've always pondered this. Would a woman, who has remained pure her whole life upon meeting a Christian man and developes an endearing relationship have trouble with the fact that he isnt a virgin, that while once dead in his tresspasses has engaged in that sort of sexual immorality? What are your thoughts ladies?

Would totally depend on the woman, it shouldn't matter if they are now saved and forgiven, but it will matter to some, and understandably so if they have saved themselves. It can bring issues into a marriage, it didn't for me, but I can see how it could for some people.

Personally I wanted a man who wasn't a virgin (and I know other girls who are the same) but that was because I was a 'born-again' virgin too.... would it matter to you if the girl wasn't?

Anyway, I personally do not care about a man's sexual past. Look at the men who have been delivered from homosexuality and then meet the woman God meant for them to be with. Many women could not accept a man who used to have sexual relations with other men, but some could. It just depends on the person. As long as they were born again and striving for sexual purity then I would be honored to have a relationship with them, virgin or not.

In our reactions, do we treat those truly redeemed from their pasts as sanctified and washed by God or not? If we don't, we call God a liar. And even more, as they walk, those things about them are changed - they truly are washed and purified! And they become truly beautiful as if those things never happened. Looking at them, we see the beauty of God in their lives today.

I'd say this wipes any slate clean enough for God to write His name on. Praise Him for His gracious loving kindness!

I would think that she should be more concerned about his purity. Being a virgin and being sexually pure are not (necessarily ofcourse) tied together. But in the end, it is her decision.

Well I read in Kurt Warner's book that if he and his now wife then girlfriend could take back living together, they would love to give their 1997 wedding night the gift of virginity and tell young people differently that they were wrong. But out of not doing that, they looked at something that was against God's wishes and judgement that Kurt's wife Brenda has two kids from a previous marriage. So out of something not so right and not so good but came two kids. And he would rather choose them definately instead of abortion.
