  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Border experiences. Jacob, just as he was leaving Canaan slept only to dream about seeing a stairway that reached heaven.
Jesus would refer to same.
We now know that God will do same for us.
Jacob, just as he re-entered Canaan would struggle with the Angel.
Two times that God would intervene at the border.

Elijah would see an Angel as he left the promised land.
He would later have an encounter with God as he was about to return.
Jesus would cross a stormy Sea of Galilee and encounter two demoniacs in Gadarea.
Paul would almost drown as he left for Rome, and would get bit by a venomous snake once he reached land.

As we make stops along the way there are opportunities to be led, strengthened, helped and provided for by a loving God that will his utmost for us as we follow his lead.
These stops along the way help define our walk, and of course are the basis for experiences that stay with us.
So, no matter what the destination may be, we know that we only have to walk in the right direction with God's help.
We will always know that he is with us.
