I really had no idea where to put this, so it stays here :D . I was wondering if anyone else has heard of the books of Enoch or the book of Jubilee. If heard they were found with (or as a part of) the Dead Sea Scrolls and they were part of the bible until around 1500 when some catholics decided they didnt belong in the bible. Like I said, if only heard that so i dont assume it as truth. Ive read a wee bit of the 1st book of Enoch and it is pretty deep. Something about a group of angels fell from heaven and mated with earth women and they bore the race of evil giants called the Nephillim. And God sent the flood to kill the Nephillim. I think i remember it saying that some angel gave humans some secret divine knowledge and was banished from heaven for doing so. Oh well, im in a ranting mood if you cant tell. If you know anything about this can you email it to me at onikirimaru777@yahoo.com thanks.

"Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: 'See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones 15 to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.'" (Jude 1:14-15 NIV)

The Book of Enoch says "Behold he comes with ten thousand of his saints, to execute judgment upon them, and destroy the wicked, and reprove all the carnal, for everything which the sinful and ungodly have done and committed against him,"

(Obviously the translations a little different)

However I believe there is a debate as to rather or not Jude was even quoting from this apocryphal writing.

Yeah I agree, the book of Enoch says that angels "sons of God" had sexual relations with the "daughters of men" (Genesis 6:2), however Matthew 22:29 says "At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven."

"sons of God" probable refered descendants of Seth and not fallen angels.
