Body Image (lack of) & low self esteem

Hi guys.
As a previous non Christian and also as a believer I suffered with low self esteem and low body image acceptance. This was rectified by the Word of God and growing in knowledge of all that I am in Jesus. I started off my mid teens full of life expectation until one girl whom i never met said to my friend that I was repulsive. This affected me for many years even into my early Christian life. I decided to put together a 2 part message via YouTube on how I dealt with this and maybe it may encourage someone here to.

Body image issues are a real thing to both Christians and non-Christians alike. And I have seen many Christians struggle with this, which grieves the Holy Spirit. There is always a lie that we end up believing but ultimately it is the truth of God that will define us not our bodies. Thanks for your vid, John.
